1 May - Last Day at MacDill AFB FamCamp

 

Last day at the MacDill AFB FamCamp.  Never left the base today.  Doreen did laundry and cleaned up the RV.  I did my typical "day before departing"  stuff like flushing the tanks, etc.  This afternoon we watched and listened to our grandson play baseball in West Des Moines at Holiday Park.  There is an amazing app called Game Changer Team Manager that has a live video/audio feature that allows them to broadcast the game live.  

Later in the day our new friends and Alliance owners Casey and Kim Stangle dropped by to see our 310RL and what we had done to it.  They have a 310 also.  Casey is a 22 year Marine Corps and Navy Veteran starting in 1970 so we had a lot to talk about.  They are also going to the rally in August in Elkhart IN so we will see them again there.

Tomorrow morning we head to Naples/Marcos Island KOA for six nights.  Next report from there.
