25 Apr - Last Day at Three Flags RV Resort and Goodbye to the Allens

 

Today is our last day here at the Three Flags RV Resort in Wildwood FL before we move on down I-75 to Tampa.  Our friends Bill and Jan Allen drove out to wish us farewell this morning and we had a great conversation.  They have been so nice coming out here and chauffeuring us around, taking us out to eat and bringing us into their home for dinner!  We are so thankful for friends like them!

This afternoon we prepped for departure, made a run into town to the Publix food store and the fuel stop, relaxed a bit and watched the Cubs and Talladega car race.

Tomorrow we will hit the road about 10:00.  Google maps shows about 86 miles which, depending on the traffic will likely take us 2-1/2 hrs.  So another light travel day and then maybe toes in the sand at  the MacDill Air Force Base Marina Beach!!
