Last day at Foster Creek RV Park on the north side of Charleston SC. We've had a great time here and really enjoyed getting to know the city. We were hoping to get our friend Jan, being a South Carolina resident, to place our state sticker, but her work schedule did not work out so Doreen did the honors.
Thanks to Greg and Debie Schwab for the RV states map I received for my military retirement.
We only have four more states remaining to have visited the 49 North American states - North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland and Delaware, most since I retired militarily in 2015. We've been to #50 Hawaii but not with the RV. Once we complete this trip, God willing, we will set out to re-visit those states we inadequately visited before and those we really enjoyed. It has been, and continues to be a lot of fun.
We have woven the quest to visit lighthouses and the goal to visit all of our Major League Baseball stadiums as we motor across the USA. This year we have already visited 14 lighthouses and climbed all four that were open.
As far as visiting baseball stadiums this year, so far we visited Atlanta, Tampa and Miami and we have tickets for Washington and Baltimore. We have seven stadiums left to visit including: Los Angeles Angels & Dodgers (we had tickets bought but had to bail on that trip due to my back); Texas Rangers, Detroit Tigers, Toronto Blue Jays, Kansas City Royals and the Chicago White Sox
Today we restocked groceries at the nearby commissary. The JB Charleston fire department had the same idea so we had to pause and check out the beautiful E-ONE aerial apparatus out in front of the commissary. The E-ONE company is just down the road a few hundred miles in Ocala FL. When I was Fire Chief at Norwalk Fire Department we designed, spec'd and purchased two E-ONE apparatus: an engine and a heavy rescue. E-ONE's are made of aluminum including aluminum ladders on their aerials.

Back at the campground we did our normal "day before we leave" tasks and then watched the afternoon home game as the Chicago Cubs hosted (and defeated) their arch rivals, the St Louis Cardinals.
Tomorrow we pull chocks and head northwest from here to Charlotte NC. We are actually staying at a KOA campground that is still in South Carolina.
Thanks for tagging along!
